Lněnička Jaroslav – 4/6/1934 – 2/1/2019 at age 84 passed away at Hradec Králové. He graduated at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Prague and his passion for flying accompanied him all his life. He was well known for his excellent knowledge of aerodynamics that he shared and spread through the e-zine (www.airspace.cz) and many lectures and workshops he conducted in last years. He has also experimented with airfoils and flying wings. He actively participated in an aviation model hobby where he served as a manager and director during the World and European Champs of C/L (control line models) and many World Cup series.

His major hobby was aerodynamics and he spent many hours running experiments in a wind tunnel to find new better airfoils. He also published tons of articles in magazines and published books.
He is survived by his wife, his sister, three daughters, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
I was delighted to meet and know Jaroslav. He will always remain in my heart as a close friend whom I respected and admired for his wide range of knowledge, fellowship, and graciousness.
